The flooding stake at Have Mill has two lines giving the highest permitted water level in the millpond at normal and water dry periods.

The prefect had the supervision that these levels were kept.

The stake is placed where the millpond to Have Mill lay. The mill was in operation at Ringsted creek for 750 years until it shut down in 1906.
